Applications for the NEH Discussion Leader Preparatory Program are now available. Applications are due by September 30, 2020. If you have questions or would like more information please email Dr. Lorna Zukas at lzukas@nu.edu.
The following documents are required to complete your application and they must be emailed to Lorna Zukas at lzukas@nu.edu by September 30, 2020. All applications must be submitted in Word or PDF format only.
- A completed application form (see below)
- A two- page personal statement (see tips for writing a personal statement below)
- A current résumé.
- A letter of recommendation (from someone familiar with your leadership capacity and efforts in mentoring or teaching others). The letter of recommendation can be emailed separately to lzukas@nu.edu. It must be received by September 30, 2020.
Eligibility
Applicants to the NEH Discussion Leader Training Program must be veterans who hold or are completing a Master’s Degree in the Humanities or an allied field. (An exceptional Bachelor’s Degree holder may be considered).
