How Can Liaisons Help Me with My Research?

Library Liaisons, though not your personal research assistants, are available to provide initial literature searches.

  • Search article databases, Library Catalog, and the Web
  • Identify most effective search terms
  • Provide linked searches of potential resources
  • Provide citation assistance by identifying non-compliant formatting

How Can I Connect with Research by NU Colleagues?

The Research Council was established by the Provost to serve as a faculty advisory body. The Research Council exists to provide leadership fostering a culture of research and enhancing National University's distinction in research, scholarship, and creative activities among faculty and students.

The Research Council provides collaborative faculty leadership through mentoring and support for the creation and dissemination of knowledge generated through research, scholarship and creative activities.

International Journal of Online Graduate Education (ijoge.org)

https://ijoge.org/index.php/IJOGE/index

The mission of the IJOGE is to advance knowledge of issues and inform best practices related to international online graduate education.

To achieve this mission, much of the journal is devoted to the publication of original empirical and applied research, innovative research studies, and conceptual/theoretical papers grounded in research. Integrative literature reviews that help bridge the gap between basic science and practice are also welcome.

The journal is an online, open access journal that utilizes a double-blind peer-review process to ensure that the selection process is independent and solely merit-based, with the objective of identifying the best research in the field. The aim is to feature outstanding scholarly contributions from researchers around the world in various disciplines. There is never a fee to publish an article in IJOGE.

Journal of Research in Innovative Teaching & Learning (JRIT&L) is a National University open access journal published annually.  It builds on the goals and mission of its predecessor (JRIT) to reflect the dynamism in the conceptualization, delivery, and assessment of education.  JRIT&L publishes, peer-reviewed theoretical and empirical research on individual, organizational, social, and international topics in the field of education (both higher and secondary). The content begins with Vol. 10, 2017.

Previous Title: Journal of Research in Innovative Teaching is available online in EBSCO’s Education Research Complete database from vol. 1, 2008 to present.
