The ASC’s holistic tiers of support are designed to provide each student with a personalized, meaningful learning experience. We align our resources to meet the skill and competency needs identified by faculty as crucial to successfully completing a graduate-level course of study. Ask a Coach

The Ask a Coach page is where you can search Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), submit a question about writing or statistics to get a personalized answer or chat live with a coach through ASC Chat.

   


Scheduled Coaching

The Academic Success Center (ASC) offers three types of coaching: recorded, group, and individual sessions. Each type has a different focus to help you build skills and develop competence in either written communication or quantitative reasoning. Read about each type of coaching on the Learn the ASC page.

Coaching Scheduler

Academic Success Center Coaching Scheduler

Visit the Coaching Scheduler to sign up for coaching and to self-schedule recorded and group sessions.

ASC Session Clock

The Academic Success Center observes Pacific Time (PT) for scheduled coaching and live help hours.

Collaboration Request Form

Please use the collaboration form to recommend a student who would benefit from academic coaching. Please provide as much information as possible to assist ASC staff in developing a personalized collaboration letter. Students will receive an invitation to collaborate and the faculty member will be CC'd on the communication. Complete this form and email it to asc@ncu.edu.
