Students sometimes tell us that we are lifesavers when we help them with their research, but in one instance, we literally did save a life (well, kind of). For the 40th anniversary of OCLC Interlibrary Loan, which is how we share books and documents with libraries around the world, our Access Services Supervisor, Patrick Pemberton, recalls how he helped a doctor save a patient's life.
