Content: EBSCO database of environmental studies, covering all aspects of human impact on the environment, including agriculture, education, law, health, and technology.
Purpose: Informs users about environmental topics with sources that range from popular, to governmental, to scholarly
Special Features: Includes a text-to-speech listening feature for some articles, as well as a tool for discovering citing articles, and a browsable index of subject terms
Content: Biomedical and health journals. Provides MESH subject headings and offers the full text of many popular MEDLINE-indexed journals that are not available in other databases.
Purpose: Informs users about health and medicine topics
Special Features: Includes text-to-speech function for some articles
Content: Includes citations to millions of biomedical journal articles, as well as some books, book chapters, and reports.
Purpose: An essential database for biomedical and health topics
Special Features: Includes MeSH search functionality
Content: Elsevier’s science database covering computer science, health science, and social sciences. Contains peer-reviewed and open-access journal articles and book chapters.
Purpose: A great resource that covers foundational science to new and novel research.
Special Features: Covers theoretical and practical aspects of physical, life, health, and social sciences.
